kms and is calculated on each calendar day |

Insurance is mandatory at NZ$15.00 per
day. This does not include windscreen damage, tyre damage,
tyre punctures and water damage |

| Bond/Excess NZ$1,500- |
The hirer/driver
is responsible for the first NZ$1,500- of all claims.
The bond is payable on pickup by creditcard. (Visa
and Mastercard). The bond is held subject to the terms
and conditions of the contract e.g. the safe return
of the vehicle in an undamaged, complete and clean
condition. |

Minimum hire period of 7 days applies |

Deposit of $300.00 is required to secure
bookings with the balance due at pick up. Visa and Mastercard

Minimum age of all drivers is 21 years
and they must produce a valid drivers license. National drivers
license of Australia, South Africa, USA, Canada,and Western
Europe are accepted or an international drivers license is
required. Two drivers maximum. |

Depots at Christchurch and Auckland.
One way and Return hires accepted between these depots with
no relocation charges. However charges will be payable for
other places or if the drop off depot is changed during the
hire. |

Pickups from 8.30am and drop-offs by
4.30pm |
|
Free transfers between the airport and
our depots on day of hire or return of vehicle, within office
hours. Arrival flight details essential. |

Late Returns will be charged at double
rates plus costs |
|
Fuel tank to be returned at same level
as received on pickup. Drop off refill charged to hirer. |
|
No smoking in vehicles. Pets or livestock
not permitted in our vehicles. |
|
| Cancellations: |
Bookings cancelled within 30
days of pickup do not receive refund. Cancellations
received more than 30 days prior to the reservation
date will be refunded but a $200.00 administration
fee applies. |

|
No refund paid for unused hire days |
|
| Supply: |
If for reasons beyond our control
the reserved vehicle is not available we reserve the
right to substitute a comparable vehicle. This shall
not constitute a breach of contract and does not entitle
the hirer to any form of refund. If a substitute is
not available our liability is limited to a full refund
of monies received by Ara Rentals Ltd. |

| Mechanical Failure: |
Complete lost days refunded but no liability accepted
for alternative arrangements. |

| Problems: |
Please report these immediately for prompt attention.
Retrospective claims will not be recognised. |

|
| Refunds: |
Refunds will be handled by the Christchurch office. |
|

Hires are subject to the terms and conditions
of the Rental Agreement |

All rights reserved to refuse any Hire
under any circumstance |
